The Chili Piper booker currently requires an email context to launch, either from an existing email thread or by manually typing an email address. Sales reps using Outlook or Teams can't launch the booker directly from their workflow without first opening or composing an email, which adds friction to the booking process.
Requested behavior: Provide a standalone booker widget (button in Outlook/Teams or desktop icon) that launches the Chili Piper meeting scheduler without requiring an open email. The widget should search and auto-populate contact information directly from the user's Outlook or Teams contact database as they type a name, similar to creating a native calendar event. Reps could then select a contact, choose a meeting template, and book using Chili Piper's standard functionality including Zoom integration.
Why it matters: Sales reps spend significant time context-switching between their contact database, email, and booking tools. A direct launch point that integrates with their native contact management makes scheduling as fast as booking a regular calendar event, reducing friction and letting reps focus on conversations rather than administrative steps.
