Automatically create a Salesforce Opportunity when a meeting is booked
backlog
Taylor Jennings
When a meeting is booked through Chili Piper, a Salesforce Opportunity isn't created automatically. Reps or ops teams have to manually create the Opportunity after the booking, which creates delays, inconsistency, and data gaps in pipeline reporting.
Requested behavior: Allow admins to configure Chili Piper to automatically create a Salesforce Opportunity when a meeting is booked, with field mapping to populate the Opportunity with relevant data from the booking and the associated Lead or Contact.
Why it matters: Manual Opportunity creation after a booking is a common friction point that slows pipeline creation and introduces errors. Automating it ensures Opportunities are created consistently, immediately, and with accurate data.

Seamless Integration with Decagon

The customer requests a feature that allows information captured in Decagon to be automatically passed to Chilipiper, eliminating the need for prospects to re-enter data. This would involve local storage of information and using it to construct a Chilipiper link.

Automatically link booked meetings to the associated Salesforce opportunity
M
Matt Miehe
Meetings booked through Chili Piper are linked to contacts in Salesforce but not automatically associated with the related opportunity. Teams that need meeting activity at the opportunity level have to manually create that link.
When a meeting is booked, Chili Piper should automatically associate it with the relevant Salesforce opportunity based on the contact's existing opportunity relationships.
Opportunity-level meeting attribution is essential for pipeline reporting and forecasting. Manual linking is error-prone and doesn't scale, leaving reporting gaps that affect sales visibility.

Automatically create a Salesforce Opportunity when a meeting is booked for a specified Meeting Type
Gaines Murfee
Creating an Opportunity in Salesforce when a qualified meeting is booked currently requires custom Apex code or process builders. There's no native way to trigger Opportunity creation from within Chili Piper based on booking activity.
Allow admins to configure an optional action at the Meeting Type level that automatically creates a Salesforce Opportunity when a meeting of that type is booked, with configurable field mappings to populate standard and custom Opportunity fields from meeting or form data.
For many sales teams, a booked meeting of a specific type is the moment an Opportunity should be created. Requiring custom Salesforce automation to handle what is a standard booking event adds implementation complexity and creates a maintenance dependency that shouldn't be necessary.
