Calculate scheduling buffers in business days rather than calendar days
Calendar buffers are calculated in calendar days, not business days. A buffer set to prevent Monday morning meetings isn't respected when a booking happens on a Friday or Saturday. Admins should be able to configure buffers that respect business days, so that scheduling constraints like minimum lead time are calculated based on working days rather than calendar days. Calendar-day buffers produce unexpected results for teams that only operate Monday through Friday. Business-day buffers ensure scheduling rules behave as intended without manual workarounds.

During the week we need the flexibility to book meetings within 2 business days but on a Friday afternoon we cannot allow meetings booked for Monday. This significantly handcuffs our operation in adequately preparing for these customer calls and doesn't allow us to accept meetings in a timely manner towards the end of the work week.

The customer has identified a need for enhanced configurability in the scheduling settings to manage meetings booked over the weekend for Monday mornings. The current buffer settings do not account for non-working hours, and the customer is seeking a more elegant solution than the suggested workaround of blocking Monday mornings.

Currently, the availability range set in meeting templates counts all calendar days, including weekends. It would be helpful to have an option to count only business days (e.g., Monday through Friday). This would be especially beneficial for teams that do not work on weekends, as it would increase the effective availability shown in their calendars and better reflect their actual working hours.
