Chat conversation export and AI response quality analytics

There is no way to export raw chat conversation data or analyze which questions visitors are asking most frequently. Teams that want to evaluate chatbot effectiveness, identify inquiry trends, or review open-ended chat transcripts have no structured way to do so.
Customers are requesting the ability to export chat interaction data, including open text from visitor messages and AI responses, and to access analytics that surface common question patterns and AI response quality metrics so they can improve chat content and assess whether the bot is handling inquiries well.

It's possible to export conversations in-app via CSV or Edge API/MCP.

Report on questions Chat AI was unable to answer
Taylor Jennings
There is no way to see which questions Chat AI failed to answer. Admins have no visibility into knowledge gaps, making it impossible to systematically improve the knowledge base.
Chili Piper should provide a report of questions that Chat AI could not answer, so admins can identify gaps and add missing content to improve future performance.
Unanswered questions are a direct signal of knowledge base gaps. Without visibility into them, improving Chat AI quality requires guesswork rather than data.
