Chat funnel and conversion reporting
released

Chat AI analytics today don't show how visitors move through the chat flow or where they convert to meetings. Teams can see that conversations are happening, but have no visibility into funnel-level metrics like how many chats start, how many reach qualification, how many result in a meeting booked, or how conversion rates vary across flows or time periods.
Chili Piper should surface funnel-stage reporting for chat, showing step-by-step progression from chat initiation through qualification and meeting conversion, with the ability to segment or filter by flow, date range, or other dimensions.
Without this, teams have no systematic way to evaluate whether chat is actually working as a pipeline channel or identify where to improve. Conversion rate by funnel stage is a baseline metric for any revenue team using chat, and its absence makes it hard to justify investment or diagnose underperformance.

Chat Analytics has a new Visitor Flow view: a Sankey chart that shows how visitors actually move through your chat journeys, step by step, and exactly where they drop off.
What you can now see
• The full path in one view: Chat Initiated → Engaged → AI Strategy → Outcome (Live Chat, Booked Meeting, or drop-off)
• The volume on every flow, so you can see which paths convert and which leak
• Click any node for a breakdown by journey and source
• Filter by journey and by date range (up to 3 months)
• Jump straight into the underlying sessions with Open Logs
Where to find it
Chat Analytics → Overview → Visitor Flow tab.
