Currently there is only one setting for Vacation Adjustment that determines when and how long a rep is taken out of distributions. The setting is per workspace, but there can be different scenarios with the same reps that should be in the same workspace where they want the Vacation Adjustment to be different. If having this value exist directly on the distribution is too hard to build, a compromise is different settings for the different type of Distribution.

Since a Meeting Distribution always factors in availability, an Admin may want to only pull them out of the Distribution if they are off for more than a day or two. But with a Record Distribution, the expectation is immediate follow-up, so if the rep is not pulled out they may lose records due to SLAs.

Having separate settings for each type of distribution would improve the options greatly.
