Chili Piper can trigger flows off Salesforce record changes and incoming webhooks, but not off a rep's Gong Engage flow (cadence). Teams that want automation to fire when a person joins or exits a Gong flow, independent of whether a meeting is booked, have no native trigger for it and fall back to external tools like Workato or Marketo.
Requested behavior: support Gong Engage flow membership (join/exit) as a native trigger in Chili Piper, and let the flow dynamically map the Gong flow a person joined to a Salesforce campaign. This is comparable to Salesloft, where attaching a campaign to the back end of a cadence auto-adds anyone who joins that cadence to the corresponding Salesforce campaign. The mapping has to be data-driven ("these users on this flow go to this campaign"), not a hardcoded branch built per flow.
Why it matters: SDRs build their own Gong flows, so ops can't hand-wire a separate campaign branch for each one. A dynamic flow-to-campaign trigger lets ops automate on the back end without getting in the middle of what the sales team is doing, and lets teams consolidate automation they currently run in Workato/Marketo into Chili Piper. The ability to trigger off tools other than Salesforce was also raised as a gap versus LeanData.
