There is no way to create a Salesforce Task as an action at the end of a chat journey. Teams that want to trigger follow-up task creation based on how a chat session concluded, such as when a prospect scores above a threshold or reaches a specific point in the flow without booking, have no native way to configure this. The current workaround requires external automation outside of Chili Piper.
Admins should be able to add a Salesforce Task creation action to a chat journey, triggerable based on a qualifying condition such as a lead score threshold, a specific path outcome, or a simple yes/no designation on the journey node.
Chat sessions that don't end in a booking still represent engaged prospects that warrant follow-up. Without task creation at the chat level, reps have no automated prompt to follow up, and the signal from the chat session is lost unless someone manually creates a task. Connecting chat outcomes to CRM task creation closes that gap without requiring external tooling.
