There's no way to assign a subset of purchased licenses to specific teams or departments. Enterprise customers managing separate budgets across business units can't track or limit how many licenses each team is consuming. Allow admins to allocate a defined number of licenses to each team and track actual consumption per team against those allocations. Large enterprise customers purchasing hundreds of licenses across multiple business units need team-level visibility and control to manage costs, enforce budgets, and prevent any single team from over-provisioning without visibility.

Admins who configure settings, manage routing, and oversee the workspace but never have meetings booked for or from them are required to hold a full paid license. This creates an awkward cost burden, especially for ops or RevOps users who use Chili Piper purely for configuration and oversight. Charging full seat prices for non-booking users is a frequent point of friction in renewal and expansion conversations. It discourages customers from properly resourcing their admin function and creates a pricing perception problem relative to tools that separate admin and user access.

Chili Piper only offers annual billing paid upfront. Teams that align their vendor payments to quarterly cycles or need to manage cash flow more incrementally have no quarterly option. Chili Piper should offer quarterly billing terms as an alternative to annual upfront payment, allowing customers to align their Chili Piper spend with their internal financial cycles. Annual upfront payment creates a procurement barrier for teams with quarterly budget cycles or cash flow constraints. Quarterly billing reduces friction and makes the product accessible to a broader range of finance structures.

Adding a new user in Chili Piper requires a license to already be available. If none are available, admins have to place a bulk order before the user can be provisioned, creating friction and delays when onboarding new team members. Requested behavior: When an admin adds a new user and no licenses are available, automatically purchase an additional license so the user can be provisioned immediately without a manual order. Why it matters: Removes a common onboarding bottleneck, especially for fast-growing teams adding users frequently.

Chili Piper is not available for purchase through the Azure Marketplace, preventing customers who want to use existing Azure credits or streamline procurement through Microsoft from doing so. Chili Piper should be listed on the Azure Marketplace so customers can purchase and manage their subscription through Microsoft's procurement infrastructure. Enterprise customers increasingly consolidate vendor purchases through cloud marketplaces to utilize committed spend. Not being on Azure Marketplace creates a procurement barrier for Microsoft-aligned accounts.
