Hello - as a potential workaround for this for team-wide holidays, what some clients will do to help reps who may forget to block off their calendars is to send out team-wide full day busy calendar events. Once a manager or admin sends this, the reps will automatically become unavailable in Chili Piper for meetings even if they don't accept. Only if they "decline" that invite will Chili Piper show them as available.

This workaround may not work in all cases, but it may help for your primary company-wide holidays.

As one more note, at our company, when we request time off, once it's approved, our internal system (a 3rd party tool that we use to manage this) will send a full day busy block on our teams' calendars, which aligns nicely with Chili Piper as it makes their calendars unavailable. In case you guys have a similar tool that has such options, may be one option worth exploring in the short-term!

Currently there isn't any way for an admin to not allow booking for reps during x days. It would be great to be able to set company holiday, paid days off so when a prospect goes to book, they're unable to for all reps during those days. It would be even better to have the ability to choose which reps would fall into certain holiday schedules. CP can only look at individual calendars right now and sometimes reps will forget to block their own calendar paid holidays.

Did this get resolved yet? It's 2025 and still coming up for my team.

This would be an amazing feature! We have some holidays off that other organizations don't, so ensuring we have pre-set closures would avoid confusion.
When I worked for an international company, I ran into this issue often; being unaware of holidays in France, India, etc., and vice versa. Would have saved a lot of headaches and 4:00am wake-ups for meetings that the other team couldn't attend.

The request above appears to have been generated over a year ago. I would like this to be looked at again because it would be great for me to be able to block holidays in Chilipiper so if someone forgets to block their google calendar correctly they don't get inadvertently scheduled.

This is important to our team because we have missed meetings due to them being booked on Holidays were the team doesn't block their calendar because the whole company is out.

Add in specific days (holidays, get togethers, SKO, etc) where the whole team will be out. It's challenging to get the whole team to "accept" holiday invites so their calendar shows they're busy.

Would be awesome to not have these available automatically through chilipiper.

When I was speaking with Cece yesterday, she mentioned there was no way to block off an event in everyone’s calendar. For example, we are planning a VIP lunch event on Wednesday and we need everyone in attendance so they cannot book meetings at that time. I was told the only way to do this was to send a regular Outlook Invite. We would love to see this improvement to Chili Piper so we can block out a specific event.

I noticed a prospect can book a meeting with us on Christmas Day and New Year's Day via the inbound router. We would like to block both days for every teammate.Current solution: Each member of our team individually marks holidays as busy full day events on their GCal. However, if one teammate forgets to do so, prospects can still book a meeting with them on the holiday.Ideal solution: CP allows us to set office-wide holidays in the admin dashboard that automatically prevents prospects from booking meetings with any teammate on those days.
