Tracking number of slots available when booking a meeting
It would be useful to have more visibility on how much time / flexibility is being offered when people use a queue link or Concierge.
For example, are prospects seeing only a couple of slots when they click, or are there many slots available? Is time offered only a few days out, or is there always something available at our minimum lead time?
I will use this data to work with the team to make sure we have enough staff on this function so that we are offering more than ample times for prospects to book with us.
I think there are two key data points that I think are relevant for tracking at the queue level:
- Date / time of the next available appointment
- Number of possible bookings currently available for a given queue
If both of these were logged on an hourly basis for all queues this would be awesome, but also feasible if it is only recorded after each booking. We could evaluate manually what we think is the best option for any given queue and then we could set a warning threshold that we are not meeting our minimums for either metric. Basically we want to track that we don't accidentally run into a situation where a few vacations or a few busy folks torpedo our availability for a given high priority queue.

I recently met with a Marketing team that was looking to purchase a tool solely on the ability to have capacity planning. They were being measured on how much they can fill their rep's calendars. They haven't been able to find a tool that does this in the market. However, I know some other scheduling tools are beginning to release this functionality which is appealing to Marketers.

Yes - this is sorely needed for capacity planning.
